It’s going to be a wild weekend when the 2016 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix takes off on September 16 on a Friday, as The Podium Lounge comes alive at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore for its 8th consecutive year from September 16th – 18th.
Gear up for a high-octane weekend at The Grand Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, whose usual understated elegance dramatically transforms into an outrageously glam ultra-lounge, where up to 3000 guests will party it up each night amidst swanky, VIP balconies and an intoxicating overhead catwalk. The Singapore edition of the magical party experience follows successful stints around the world, including Monaco, Melbourne and Abu Dhabi.
You’d recognize The Podium Lounge as the host of many Formula 1 drivers, teams, Royalty, supermodels, celebrities, ambassadors and the jet-setting party elite of Asia year after year. Look out for E! News Presenter Yvette King who will host the drivers, celebrity guests and performers each night on the red carpet. Among the many celebrities who have attended the famous party include Gordon Ramsay, Kim Kardashian, Kristian Nairn, Princess Charlene of Monaco and Sky Blu.
One of the party’s great highlights will include a taste of the exclusive Bawah Private Island (a two-hour flight from Singapore by seaplane), ahead of its long-anticipated opening in March 2017. Furthermore, within the Lounge lies the Bawah Island VIP Lounge, where you can spot and mingle with star-studded guests from the racing community.
This year will also include special live auctions, where you can get your hands on autographed rare F1 memorabilia, such as a signed replica racing F1 helmet signed by Lewis Hamilton and a full-sized Red Bull Racing Suit signed by Sebastian Vettel.
