A stunning, 20-piece capsule collection by Gucci will be soon available exclusively on Net-A-Porter, following their anticipated collaboration under Alessandro Michele’s creative direction. The coveted collection will launched Net-A-Porter officially on May 12, featuring a series of ready-to-wear items including shoes and accessories that bear a distinctively Gucci design.
“Our customers cannot seem to get enough of Gucci,” says Alison Loehnis, President of NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER. “Working on the exclusive project has been a thrill and we’re incredibly excited to be launching this global first on NET-A-PORTER. Alessandro has an immense talent and vision and as we’ve come to expect from him, the collection is exquisite.”
Inspired by 19th century textile art, a central motif comes alive in the rose print, in the style of a double silk georgette across a pearl, GG button-embellished scarf blouse, a reversible cashmere, a merino wool cardigan or a pleated skirt with nude lining.
An exclusively Net-A-Porter re-imagination, the Heron print, appears in stunning red on a lurex web striped neoprene sweatshirt. Also, expect some bold floral patterns, coming back this season on fascinating embroideries, such as on bleach washed denim or on a patch-worked, sleeveless silk organdy dress.
