Michelin-star chef Yannick Alléno and his team showcase Moroccan cuisine at Royal Mansour Marrakech, basing his menu on traditional Moroccan dishes and ingredients while enhancing them with an innovative contemporary twist.

Royal Mansour Marrakech is widely regarded as a showcase for Moroccan splendour and the embodiment of the masterfully rich and unique culture. The intricate ornaments and the attention to detail are evidence for beauty, charm and also the pride of Moroccan traditions and cultural heritage.

Last month, the hotel’s restaurants were transformed into a magical Moroccan pavilion during the Festival of Moroccan Flavours by French Michelin-star chef Yannick Alléno. The master chef and his team declared their love of gastronomic culture of the kingdom and presented a culinary journey through the diverse and regional influences in the country’s cuisine, from Tangier via Ouaryayate to Fez and Meknes.

Every evening a carefully composed menu was presented, skilfully combining local produce and traditional cooking methods. One of the experts taking part in the event was Dr Labaqui, orthopaedic surgeon and truffle lover whose singular passion is for breeding black truffle in Morocco. Also featuring were the "Domaines Agricoles", Morocco's top agricultural food producers introducing their latest products. Even manufacturers of Moroccan craftsmanship and gorgeous caftans presented their products. Additionally, on the first and last night of the week guests enjoyed a fashion show of Moroccan haute couture, showing the different regional styles.
