Savoring a glass of wine in Las Vegas is a virtual rite of passage when you’re in town. While you can get a glass just about anywhere (and we mean anywhere), why not treat yourself to a little luxury? We’ve rounded up five of our favorite wine bars and lounges in Sin City for you to visit during your next happy hour or night out.

1 Aureole by Charlie Parker

Not only is Aureole’s wine selection among the best you’ll find in Las Vegas, but also this luxurious spot has a vast collection of top-shelf wine bottles on hand. From popular favorites to rare vintage bottles, no matter what you’re looking for, they’ll have it here. What’s more, when you order a bottle, it will be brought to you by Aureole’s famous “wine angels,” who scale the massive wine tower in a special harness, which you get to see, as the tower is completely clear. Trust us, there’s no cooler wine tasting experience than this!

2 Double Helix Whiskey & Wine Bar

Featuring over 40 unique wines by the glass and 100 different whiskey labels on hand, this is a great place to enjoy a glass. The décor is modern yet inviting, which allows you to really relax while you drink. Double Helix has two locations in Las Vegas; one in The Grand Canal Shoppes of The Palazzo hotel and the other is a larger location at Town Square, which is located a few miles off The Strip. Be sure to take advantage of their delicious Happy Hour deals, which are offered daily from 3:30pm – 7:30pm.

3 Grape Street Café

The beautiful Grape Street Café is designed to replicate a luxury wine cellar and boasts an intimate setting that makes it ideal for bringing a date to. The wine bar is massive and provides a towering selection of different bottles to pick from. There is also a full service outdoor patio, so you can enjoy a glass of wine while soaking in a beautiful sunset with the stunning Red Rock Mountains in the background.

4 The Wine Cellar & Tasting Lounge

The Rio Hotel’s Wine Cellar & Tasting Room houses one of the most impressive public wine collections in the United States. There are over 10,000 bottles here, valuing more than $10 million. The Wine Cellar has a rustic vibe to it, which makes you feel as though you’re doing your tasting in an exclusive European locale. In addition to all the great wines to try, you’ll also appreciate the rare collectibles that have been accumulated here, such as an 1800 Madeira bottle from Thomas Jefferson’s private wine cellar. If you're a serious wino or just getting into it, you must make a stop here when in Sin City.

5 Parasol Up/Parasol Down

Located at Wynn Las Vegas, The Parasol Up and Parasol Down lounges provide you with one of the most luxurious settings in Sin City to savor a good glass of wine. You access the semi-private lounge at Parasol Down from a spiraling escalator at Parasol Up, as colorful parasols hang from above. When you finally reach parasol Down, you will be blown-away by the breathtaking 40-foot waterfall that flows down. Steve Wynn helped change the Las Vegas landscape and his ultra-chic Parasol Up/Parasol Down lounges are the epitome of a first-class drinking experience.
