Among his latest releases is this sterling-silver Mountain.
Intricate carvings and meticulous metalwork make cuff links from 97-year-old design house Buccellati truly stand out from the crowd. These jade cuff links encircled with sapphires and set in 18-karat yellow gold ($23,000) are a striking example. Other highlights include pieces from the new Opera collection featuring themes from classic Italian architecture.
Self-taught goldsmith Alishan Halebian has been fashioning jewelry in his Southern California studio for more than three decades. His men’s designs are refined yet robust. Reed first launched his brand in Boulder, Colo., and recently opened a boutique in Los Angeles. Among his signature pieces are chain-link-themed creations like this 18-karat yellow-gold and palladium bracelet with raw diamonds ($17,380), and this 22-karat yellow-gold and sterling-silver ring sporting black diamonds and a natural rough finish ($2,530). For a touch of color, green-jade rings (like the one shown here) are lined with black diamonds ($6,820).
Paolo–based jewelry designer Yael Sonia combines organic formations with more refined, structured shapes—an exquisite juxtaposition evinced in such pieces as her black-rhodium and 18-karat white-gold-plated cuff links framing a round smoky quartz ($3,950). Other standouts: the quartz Pyramid cuff links in 18-karat white gold ($3,200) and a minimalist Kite 2S wrist cuff decorated with two rutilated-quartz squares ($5,800).
