Louis Vuitton will be presenting L’Appartement Louis Vuitton for the first time in Singapore, right at the heart of town. Selected guests of the maison will be invited to the unique space, where they can unravel Louis Vuitton’s impeccable savoir faire, across a specially curated range of Louis Vuitton pieces. It will be a journey like no other, as you experience the core of their craftsmanship, heritage and tradition.

From November 2 to 11, the immersive experience offers an atmosphere of authenticity and tradition, as one takes on an emotional journey in a fantastic apartment filled with delightful trunks that will surely inject an element of surprise. The lavish space plays out in a modern home, in a vivacious red, jade green, tangerine and midnight blue.

Located on the 47th floor of The Orchard Residences, the sprawling 2,852 square feet apartment was designed by Kian Liew to inject an Asian character with a contemporary twist. Indeed, the home’s dramatic features are amplified with an East-meets-West vibe, as in its ebony fretwork panels, evocative of traditional Ming and Qing dynasty furniture and screens and its distinct geometric patterns.  Iridescent mother-of-pearl walls and sleek mirrors emphasize on the chinoiserie aesthetic, whilst trunks from the Louis Vuitton archives give life to contemporary art pieces.

Of course, the highlight of the apartment lies in the many exceptional trunks that have been specially flown in, including the Cigar Trunk, Wardrobe Trunk, Picnic Trunk and of course, the psychedelic Boombox from the Women’s Cruise 2017. Look out for some stunning numbers from the Men’s Spring Summer 2017, such as the avant-garde Perspex and the unusual Runway Trunks, in collaboration with Jake and Dinos Chapman.

Trunks in the new and masculine Monogram Eclipse will also be featured for the first time outside of France, with an exclusive motif created especially for this animation in Singapore. The limited period also offers guests the opportunity to personalize their newly purchased hard-sided trunks with the hand-painted “travel stickers” of their preference, with the maison’s in-house artisans on hand to help conceptualize a truly unique piece.
